Multi-leg 100 free trades

Questrade is offering new and existing clients up to 100 commission-free stock and option trades, and a free transfer rebate when opening a new account.

How to qualify:

Open and fund a new registered or margin self-directed account with a minimum of CAD $10,000 by 11:59 p.m. ET, February 27^th, 2015 and get 100 commission-free stock and option trades.

General:

• Ensure the promotional code 100FREEML15W is entered on the online application page when submitting the new account application.
• This offer is open to new and existing clients.
• In order for existing clients to take advantage of this offer, they must open a new account-type they don’t currently have with Questrade. For example, if an existing client has a margin account, they must open a TFSA in order to qualify.
• FX & CFD accounts are not eligible.
• Accounts must be completed within 60 days of submitting the application to qualify for the offer.

Minimum initial funding:

• Minimum required funding to get 100 free trades is CAD $10,000.
• Minimum required funding to get 10 free trades is CAD $1,000.
• Clients will have an additional 30 days from the date the account is activated to reach the CAD $10,000 minimum requirement to qualify for the 100 free trades offer.
• If the account is not funded with the required minimum of CAD $10,000 within 30 days of the account activation, the client will still be eligible to get up to 10 commission-free stock and option trades.
• If the client is funding the account by transferring from another broker, the transfer must be initiated by 11:59 p.m. ET, February 27^th, 2015 and funding must be completed within 60 days of initiation to qualify for the offer.
• New accounts cannot be funded by using funds from another Questrade account. The assets deposited into the qualifying account must be net new assets.

Minimum holding period:

• Account holders who deposit $10,000 must maintain a minimum account balance of CAD $10,000 in assets for at least 6 months after the account has been activated to continue to be eligible for this promotion. If the account balance falls below CAD $10,000 in assets before the end of the 6 month period due to withdrawals on the account, the client will no longer be eligible for the promotion and Questrade will have the option to apply a charge to the account based on the credited amount. If the account balance falls below CAD $10,000 in assets due to market fluctuations, the client will still be eligible for the promotion and no charges will be applied.
• If the account was originally funded between $1,000 and $9,999, the account will not be required to have a minimum holding period.

Free trades period:

• Only trades completed within 60 days from the date the account is activated with the minimum requirement of CAD $1,000 for the 10 free trades offer will be eligible for the rebate.
• Only trades completed within 60 days from the date the account is funded with the minimum requirement of CAD $10,000 for the 100 free trades offer will be eligible for the rebate.
• Rebates will be applied to the account within ten (10) business days of the trade execution.

Eligible trade details:

• This offer applies to equity trades and option tickets (excluding the cost of contracts) and does not apply to precious metal trades, mutual fund trades, or foreign currency trades.
• Other trade fees including exchange and ECN fees may apply.
• Clients will not receive cash compensation for any unused free trade commissions.

FREE TO TRANSFER

Questrade will pay the transfer-out fees up to CAD $150 when you move a minimum of CAD $25,000 to Questrade from another brokerage. Payment of the transfer-out fee is capped at CAD $150 and is limited to one account per client.
