100 free trades

Questrade is offering new clients up to 100 commission-free stock and option trades, and a free transfer rebate when opening a new account.

How to qualify

Open and fund a new registered, margin or TFSA account with a minimum of CAD $10,000 by 11:59 p.m. ET, July 3^rd, 2014 and get 100 commission-free stock and option trades.

General:

Clients must review and ensure the promotional code 100LOWCOM14S is pre-populated on the online application page when submitting the new account application.

• This offer is not open to existing clients.
• FX and CFD accounts are not eligible.
• If you are funding your account by transferring from another broker, the transfer must be initiated by 11:59 p.m. ET, July 3^rd, 2014 and funding must be completed within 60 days of initiation to qualify for the offer.
• Accounts must be completed within 60 days of submitting the application to qualify for the offer.
• Minimum required funding to get 100 free trades is CAD $10,000.
• If the account is not funded with the required minimum of CAD $10,000 within 30 days of the account activation, you will still be eligible to get up to 10 commission-free stock and option trades.
• Only trades completed within 60 days from the date the account is funded with the minimum requirement of CAD $10,000 for the 100 free trades offer will be eligible for the rebate.
• Only trades completed within 60 days from the date the account is activated with the minimum requirement of CAD $1,000 for the 10 free trades offer will be eligible for the rebate.
• Rebates will be applied to your account within five (5) business days of the trade execution.
• Clients will have an additional 30 days from the date the account is activated to reach the $10,000 minimum requirement to qualify for the 100 free trades offer.
• If the account is not funded with the required minimum of CAD $10,000 within 30 days of the account activation, you will still be eligible to get up to 10 commission-free stock and option trades.
• Account holders must maintain a minimum account balance of $10,000 in assets for at least 6 months of account activation to qualify for the 100 free trades offer. If the account balance falls below $10,000 in assets before the end of the 6 month period due to withdrawals on your account, you will no longer qualify for the promotion and Questrade will have the option to apply a charge to your account based on the credited amount. If the account balance falls below $10,000 in assets due to market fluctuations, you will still be eligible for the promotion and no charges will be applied.
• New accounts cannot be funded by using funds from another Questrade account. The assets deposited into the qualifying account must be net new assets
• This offer applies to equity trades and option tickets (excluding the cost of contracts) and does not apply to gold trades, mutual fund trades, or foreign currency trades.
• Other trade fees including exchange and ECN fees may apply.
• Client will not receive cash compensation for any unused free trade commissions.
• Amounts quoted are in CAD.
• This offer is not available to Questrade employees or members of their household.
• This offer, terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
• This is a one-time offer per client, and cannot be combined or used in conjuction with any other Questrade offer with the exception of FREE TO TRANSFER (see below).

FREE TO TRANSFER

Questrade will pay your transfer-out fees up to CAD $150 when you move a minimum of CAD $25,000 to Questrade from another brokerage. Payment of the transfer-out fee is capped at CAD $150 and is limited to one account per client.
