30 trades in 30 days

Questrade is offering new and existing clients 30 commission-free trades (stocks, options (excluding the price of contracts) or, ETF sells) when a new registered, margin or TFSA* account is opened and funded with CAD $1,000.

How to qualify

• Submit an application for a new TFSA*, registered or margin account by 11:59 p.m. ET, December 30^th, 2014.
• Complete and fund the account with a minimum of CAD $1,000 within 60 days of submitting your application to be eligible to receive 30 commission-free trades (stocks, options excluding the price of contracts. or, ETF sells).
• The client has 30 days from the date the account is activated (approved and funded) to execute the 30 commission-free stock trades.

General:

• Client must ensure the promotion code 30trades2014 is pre-populated on the webpage when submitting the new account application.
• This offer is open to new and existing clients.
• FX & CFD accounts are not eligible for this offer.
• For existing Questrade clients to be eligible for this offer, they must open a new account type, on or after November 20th , 2014 and on or before December 30^th, 2014.
• New accounts cannot be funded by using funds from another Questrade account. The assets deposited into the qualifying account must be net new assets.
• If you are funding your account by transferring from another broker, the transfer must be initiated by 11:59 p.m. ET, December 30^th, 2014 and must be completed within 60 days of initiation to qualify for the offer.
• All eligible trades must be completed on or before 30 days after the account is activated. Accounts are considered activated when approved and funded with CAD $1000.
• Any unused trades will expire 31 days after the account was activated.
• Client will not receive cash compensation for any unused trade commissions.
• Rebate will be applied to the client's account within 30 business days of the trade execution.
• This offer applies to stock trades, option tickets (excluding the cost of contracts) and ETF sell trades, but does not apply to gold or silver trades, mutual fund trades, or foreign currency trades.
• Other trade fees including exchange and ECN fees may apply.
• Trade rebates will be issued in the currency of the trades.

TRANSFER FOR FREE

Questrade will pay your transfer-out fees up to CAD $150 when you move a minimum of CAD $25,000 to Questrade from another brokerage. Payment of the transfer-out fee is capped at CAD $150 and is limited to one account per client.

* TFSA account balances are subject to Government of Canada regulations stipulating maximum annual contribution levels.
