Questrade is offering new clients 25 commission-free stock and option trades, and a free transfer rebate when opening a new account with a minimum of $25,000.

How to qualify

1) Submit an application for a new TFSA*, registered or margin account by 11:59 p.m. ET, July 3^rd, 2014.
2) Complete and fund the account with a minimum of CAD $25,000 within 30 days of submitting your application to be eligible to receive 25 commission-free stock and option trades to use until December 31st, 2014.

General:

• Client must ensure the promotion code CANADADAY14 is pre-populated on the webpage when submitting the new account application.
• This offer is not open to existing clients
• FX & CFD accounts are not eligible.
• If you are funding your account by transferring from another broker, the transfer must be initiated by 11:59 p.m. ET, July 3rd, 2014 and must be completed within 60 days of initiation to qualify for the offer.
• All eligible commission-free trades must be executed by December 31^st, 2014.
• Any unused trades will expire at 12:01 am, ET, on January 1^st , 2015.
• Client will not receive cash compensation for any unused trade commissions.
• Only trades completed within the calendar year of 2014 from the date the account is funded with the minimum requirement of CAD $25,000 for the 25 free trades offer will be eligible for the rebate.
• Rebates will be applied to your account within ten(10) business days of the trade execution.
• Account holders must maintain a minimum account balance of CAD $25,000 in assets for at least 6 months of account activation for the 25 free trades offer. If the account balance falls below $25,000 in assets before the end of the 6 month period due to withdrawals on your account, you will no longer qualify for the promotion and Questrade will have the option to apply a charge to your account based on the credited amount. If the account balance falls below $25,000 in assets due to market fluctuations, you will still be eligible for the promotion and no charges will be applied.
• This offer applies to equity trades and option tickets (excluding the cost of contracts) and does not apply to gold trades, mutual fund trades, or FX and/or CFD trades.

FREE TO TRANSFER

Questrade will pay your transfer-out fees up to CAD $150 when you move a minimum of CAD $25,000 to Questrade from another brokerage. Payment of the transfer-out fee is capped at CAD $150 and is limited to one account per client.
