Get an iPad mini

Questrade is offering new and existing clients an iPad mini when opening and funding a new account.

To get an iPad mini, you must:

• Select the promotion offer code, IPADMINI14F at the start of the account application.
• Submit an application for a new TFSA*, registered or margin account by 11:59 p.m. ET, November 30, 2014. The account must be open and funded with a minimum of CAD $100,000 in net new assets within 60 days of submitting the application. New net assets means net assets that were never deposited with or transferred to Questrade before or were not withdrawn or transferred out from Questrade by you prior to the funding of your account.
• Once the account is funded with $100,000, execute one commissionable trade within 30 days to receive an iPAD mini.
• Maintain net new assets of CAD $100,000 (based on the calculation of all withdrawals and deposits in your account) from the day the account has been funded with the minimum net new assets, until six months after that date to be eligible for the promotion. If the net new assets fall below CAD $100,000 between the day the account was funded with the minimum net new assets and the end of the six-month period (due to withdrawals on the qualifying account), the client will no longer qualify for the promotion. As such, Questrade will debit the client’s account the cost of the iPad mini (approximately $320 CAD). If the net new assets fall below CAD $100,000 due to market fluctuations, the client will still be eligible for the promotion.
• If the client participates in the promotion and complies with all requirements, as outlined in these terms and conditions, an order for an iPad mini will be placed within 30 days of the account being funded with the minimum net new assets required for the promotion. The client will be notified of the shipment details via email.
• Amounts quoted are in CAD.
• If the client is funding their account by transferring from another broker, the transfer must be initiated by 11:59 p.m. ET, November 30th, 2014 and must be completed within 60 days of initiation to qualify for the offer.
• Existing FX and CFD clients cannot open a second FX and CFD account, but can open and fund a new equity account with the required minimum.
• An exception can be made only when a client opens multiple accounts simultaneously.
• This offer, terms and conditions are subject to change without notice, including the promotion period (last updated November 11, 2014).
• Clients will get one iPad mini (Wi-Fi only, 16 GB, 7.9” IPS (1024 x 768), rear camera, front camera, Bluetooth, space gray), excluding the smart cover.
• Questrade reserves the right to exchange for or provide other versions of the iPAD mini, depending on availability.
• Images of iPad mini shown on any advertisement used by Questrade do not represent the actual iPad mini that will be offered to clients.
• This is a one-time offer per client and if a client is eligible for this iPAD mini offer, the client will not be eligible for another iPAD mini offer from the date the account becomes eligible for the IPAD mini until twelve (12) months have passed from that date.
• This offer cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other Questrade offer except free to transfer (see below).
• This promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, municipal laws and regulations and is not available to Questrade employees and members of their household or Questrade affiliated partners.
• This offer is applicable to self-directed accounts only.

FREE TO TRANSFER

Questrade will pay the transfer-out fees up to CAD $150 when the client moves a minimum of CAD $25,000 to Questrade from another brokerage. Payment of the transfer-out fee is capped at $150, and is limited to one account per client.

* TFSA account balances are subject to Government of Canada regulations stipulating maximum annual contribution levels.
