Open a RESP account and get $50 in free trades

Questrade is offering new and existing clients CAD $50 in commission-free trades when they open and fund a new RESP account.

How to qualify:

• Submit an application for a new RESP account by 11:59 p.m. ET, September 30^th, 2014. The account must be open and funded with a minimum of CAD $1,000 in net new assets within 60 days of submitting your application to get CAD $50 in commission-free trades.

General:

• Client must ensure the offercode RESPFALL14 is pre-populated on the account application.
• This offer applies to equity trades and option tickets (excluding the cost of contracts), and does not apply to gold trades, mutual fund trades, or foreign currency trades.
• FX & CFDs accounts are not eligible.
• Only trades completed within 30 days of your account activation will be eligible for the rebate.
• If you are funding your account by transferring from another broker, the transfer must be initiated by 11:59 p.m. ET, September 30, 2014 and must be completed within 60 days of initiation to qualify for the offer.
• Accounts are considered active when funded with a minimum of CAD $1,000.
• New accounts cannot be funded by using funds from another Questrade account. The assets deposited into the qualifying account must be net new assets
• Rebates will be applied to your account within five business days of the trade execution.
• Client will not receive cash compensation for any unused free trade commissions.
• Other trade fees including exchange and ECN fees may apply.

TRANSFER FOR FREE

• Questrade will pay your transfer-out fees up to CAD $150 when you move a minimum of CAD $25,000 to Questrade from another brokerage. Payment of the transfer-out fee is capped at CAD $150 and is limited to one account per client.
