Trade free for the year

Questrade is offering new clients 25 commission-free trades and a free transfer rebate when opening a new account with a minimum of $25,000.

How to qualify:

• Submit an application for a new registered or margin account by 11:59 p.m. ET, January 30th, 2015.
• Complete and fund the account with a minimum of CAD $25,000 within 60 days of submitting the application to be eligibile to receive 25 commission-free trades (stock trades, option trades excluding the cost of contracts and ETF sells), for use until December 31^st, 2015

General eligibility for this offer:

• Promotion is open to new clients only.
• FX & CFD accounts are not eligible.
• Only applicable to self-directed accounts.
• Client must ensure that the offercode TRADEFREE2015 must be pre-populated on the webpage when submitting an account application.

Mininmum initial funding and holding:

• If the client is funding an account by transferring from another broker, the transfer must be initiated by 11:59 p.m. ET, January 30^th, 2015 and must be completed within 60 days of initiation to qualify for the offer.
• Account holders must maintain a minimum account balance of CAD $25,000 in assets for at least 6 months of account activation for the 25 free trades offer. If the account balance falls below $25,000 in assets before the end of the 6 month period due to withdrawals on the account, the client will no longer qualify for the promotion and Questrade will have the option to apply a charge to the account based on the credited amount. If the account balance falls below $25,000 in assets due to market fluctuations, the client will still be eligible for the promotion and no charges will be applied.

Trade rebates and eligible trades:

• All eligible commission-free trades (stock trades, option trades excluding the cost of contracts and ETF sells), must be executed by December 31st, 2015.
• Any unused trades will expire at 12:01 am, ET, on January 1^st , 2016.
• Clients will not receive cash compensation for any unused trade commissions.
• The client’s account will first be charged for the trading commissions and then the trading commissions will be rebated and applied to the clients account within ten (10) business days of the trade execution to a maximum of $9.95 per trade.
• This offer applies to stock trades, option tickets (excluding the cost of contracts) and ETF sell trades, but does not apply to gold or silver trades, mutual fund trades, or foreign currency trades.
• Trade rebates will be issued in the currency of the trades.
• Other trade fees including exchange and ECN fees may apply.

FREE TO TRANSFER

Questrade will pay your transfer-out fees up to CAD $150 when you move a minimum of CAD $25,000 to Questrade from another brokerage. Payment of the transfer-out fee is capped at CAD $150 and is limited to one account per client.
