Terms and conditions

Questrade is offering new and existing clients a choice of an iPad mini or $250 cash when opening and funding a new account.

To get an iPad mini, you must:

Select the promotion offer code, IPADMINIW13 at the start of the account application.
Submit the account application by 11:59 p.m. ET, March 31^st, 2014. The account must be open and funded with a minimum of $100,000 in net new assets within 60 days of submitting the application. New net assets means net assets that were never deposited with or transferred to Questrade before or were not withdrawn or transferred out from Questrade by you prior to the funding of your account.
Ensure the account is funded with a minimum of $100,000 in net new assets.
Maintain net new assets of $100,000 (based on the calculation of all withdrawals and deposits in your account) from the day the account has been funded with the minimum net new assets, until six months after that date to be eligible for the promotion. If the net new assets fall below $100,000 between the day the account was funded with the minimum net new assets and the end of the six-month period (due to withdrawals on the qualifying account), the client will no longer qualify for the promotion. Furthermore, Questrade will debit the client’s account with the cost of the iPad mini awarded. If the net new assets fall below $100,000 due to market fluctuations, the client will still be eligible for the promotion.

If the client participates in the promotion and complies with all requirements, as outlined in these terms and conditions, an order for an iPad mini will be placed within 30 days of the account being funded with the minimum net new assets required for the promotion. The client will be notified of the shipment details by email.

To get $250 cash, you must:

General terms and conditions:

Amounts quoted are in CAD.
If the client is funding their account by transferring from another broker, the transfer must be initiated by 11:59 p.m. ET, March 31^st, 2014 and must be completed within 60 days of initiation to qualify for the offer.
New accounts cannot be funded by using funds from another Questrade account. The assets deposited into the qualifying account must be net new assets
Existing FX and CFD clients cannot open a second FX and CFD account, but can open and fund a new equity account with the required minimum.
Clients will get one iPad mini(Wi-Fi only, 16 GB), excluding the smart cover.
iPad minis are subject to availability and if, for whatever reason, there are not enough iPad minis for all the contest winners, Questrade, in its sole and exclusive discretion, has the right to give you the iPad mini's cash equivalent.
Images of iPad mini shown on any advertisement used by Questrade do not represent the actual iPad mini that will be offered to clients.

FREE TO TRANSFER

Questrade will pay the transfer-out fees up to CAD $150 when the client moves a minimum of CAD $25,000 to Questrade from another brokerage. Payment of the transfer-out fee is capped at $150, and is limited to one account per client.
